Foundation

More expensive than I normally spend, but well worth it. I like the fragrance-smells like chocolate. Good coverage, feels nice.

Great Foundation

I haven't tried the new foundation yet but I love the new bottle that it comes in. Much better and easier to use.

Great Foundation

I have been using this foundation for years and it is my favorite. It is sheer yet covers well without feeling caked on my face as other foundations have. This shade is perfect for me in that it has rosy undertones rather than yellow which matches my skin perfectly. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that the new bottle makes it difficult to get the last remaining drops of make up out. When I first got the new bottle I thought this is great. I love the pump and the fact that it travels well. The old plastic container believe it or not would gush make up out if I traveled to higher altitudes the minute I opened the lid, if I didn't remember to shake the make up down before opening. This eliminated that issue so I was pleased with the new bottle. However it didn't take long before the pump no longer reached the make up in the bottom of the bottle leaving it almost impossible to get the last bit of make up out. I even tried removing the lid and shaking the make up out of the bottle like most bottled make up sold. But it didn't drop down easily. So just a little disappointed in that regard. Still I haven't found a foundation that works for me as well as this foundation so I am sticking with it.

Too many ingredients

I've been using the foundation for years. I've had skin cancer on and off for many years. I'm skeptical of why it used to have 4 or five ingredients and it now has the typical 20!! Some we can not pronounce and will be proclaimed " natural" and just because the whole grocer uses this fake sugar doesn't mean they are all that!! They've been caught lobbying with GMO's and the companies we all know and love that produce the awesome fake sugars that cause cancer!! Safflower oil, is also super processed and causes cancer if ingested, unless its not processed. Is it? Cold or heat processed? It's one of the worst things to digest is oils like this. Do the research folks. Companies strip the oils of anything good and the end result is cancer causing oil that has been genetically altered for our shelf life! If it's real it should be cloudy. I give up!! This was the first company that seriously only had a few ingredients in its foundation, now what?? Hi Anita, Thank you for your review. We absolutely understand your need to be careful in what you put on your body, so we are hopeful that this reply will put your mind at ease. First of all, there are 14 ingredients (not 20) in this new formula. Two of them are purified water and aloe vera, which are excellent for skin, and the second two ingredients are glycerin and caprylic acid, both of which are rated a 1 in toxicity on EWG.org and are extremely safe. The next ingredient – safflower oil - is absolutely safe to use when applied in small amounts and topically applied (rather than ingested); this is backed by evidence found at EWG.org, where this ingredient is also rated a 1. The next set of ingredients are completely natural – they include jojoba esters, shea butter, marine collagen and natural mineral kaolinite; however, I am guessing that the difficult-to-pronounce ingredient you’re referencing is Xylityl Sesquicaprylate? Please let us put your mind at ease. This is a sugar-based preservative that is the only one preservative approved by Whole Foods, which has the some of the strictest body care and ingredient standards in the United States. It has - in NO way - been linked to cancer. We added this particular ingredient because it will help maintain the stability of the formula, limiting the possibility of bacterial growth and making it much safer for customer use. The following ingredients - Xanthum Gum and Tocolpherol - are also extremely safe and help maintain the benefits of this formula. I hope that this information helps, Anita. Best of luck if you decide to look elsewhere for a more natural formula. -The Real Purity Team

Relabeling is disappointing!

After using Real Purity products for many years I am disappointed to see the change in the container & quantity. The plastic was fine though glass is a green product, all good, BUT the quantity is considerably less 1.5oz to 1oz yet the price remains the same. Would it be possible to alert customers of needing to increase prices instead of doing what other big companies do to fool us? thanks for listening.Hi Karen, thanks so much for your feedback. The original plastic container was quite difficult for many of our customers to use, so we chose to upgrade to a higher quality & more eco-friendly option. The new glass container is more expensive, so keeping the cost the same helps us offset its additional cost; however, while the amount provided is a bit smaller, we've found that our customers have been able to get more out of the container because of its ease of use. Thank you again for being a great customer and we hope that you see these benefits as you use it! -The Real Purity Team
