It was a great plan to obtain a sample to decide the color that was best for me! This SHRIMP blush is perfect for my skin tone. This blush DOES NOT require a lot of product for full color - I'm still struggling with traditional methods of 'more is better' -- I'll get the hang of it eventually!
Powder Blush in Desert Rose: I really liked this shade although I prefer creme products over powder ones. This shade is really pretty though, it is like a nice dusty pink rose color. If you don’t mind powder blush’s I would definitely recommend this one because it is on the elegant and feminine side if that’s what you’re into.Powder Blush in Lt. Coral: This was a pigmented pink color on the coral side, which I actually liked eventhough upon opening it I didn’t know if I would. It gives the cheeks a nice, bright flush of pink.Powder Blush in Regal Red: This one was a bit too red for me, but if you like highly red cheeks then this would be the blush for you. This one was also pretty hard to remove due to its pigmentation so break out lots of almond oil.Powder Blush in Shrimp: This one appeared very bright in the packaging almost like neon pink, but after much blending it was not as bright and turned out to be quite pretty. It appeared as a pink color, sort of hot pink but became a lighter pink shade after blending.
The pigments in these blushes are amazing! The color is so strong, it requires very little product to get a nice flush. The color lasts all day and is very blendable. The Peachwood is an earthy peach tone that works well on my golden/yellow toned skin. It's my go to, daily blush. Dusty Rose is a neutral, rosy pink that would work well for folks who want a pinker flush. Chablis is a redder (but still neutral) tone that I personally like for an evening out. The Shrimp Pink is very intimidating in the package, neon pink, and requires a deft touch when applying, but I found it works well for me if I apply it under my foundation. I'm giving the blush 4 stars because I am finding it to be a bit messy. It doesn't stay particularly "pressed" when you apply your brush to it, and I find myself sweeping quite a bit out of the container.
Very satisfied with the warm color. For a woman my age (almost 60) I prefer to use makeup that enhances my skin tone. Most important,I was searching for cosmetics free of all the harsh chemicals found in leading brands. After much research thru the internet, I decided to try Real Purity. Thank you for taking action and creating natural skin products!
This blush is lovely, though a little bit goes a long way. One piece of advice, though - order a sample before investing in the whole product. The colors shown on the website bear little resemblance to the actual product.-> Hi Susan, we've recently updated all of our pictures with the goal of making the colors as accurate as possible. Hopefully these changes will help you pick the best color for your skin. Thank you for shopping with us! -The Real Purity Team
