Matte Smoke Grey Eye Shadow

This eye shadow is high quality and light in color as I had hoped.

Just the right “light” grey shade.

I have bought several different eye shadows, some I use for eye liner, and some for eye shadow. I bought the matte grey for eye shadow. It's a great "neutral" color, goes with everything, and at the moment, I've had it on for 7 hours, and it still looks good. This is amazing considering I'm 72, and I have a hard time keeping shadows on my eye lids. This shadow has good staying power. I will buy it again. I wish there were more lighter colors that are neutral, because I can't wear the darker ones, unless I'm using them for eye liner.

I had never thought of wearing gray eyeshadow with my blue green eyes and pale white skin. But I read on natural website that sells Real Purity that gray can work for just about anyone so I tried it and to my surprise find it seems to go with everything I wear. I use the smoke gray color and vanilla almost everyday now. As another review said it's nice to have natural pressed eyeshadow as the powders are very messy.

Real Purity brand eyeshadows.......hummm.Not that exceptional in color range, I am sorry. I bought the gray and the off-white. I think that the difficulty lies within the color-range, not the actual formula though.....the formula felt smooth and creamy enough on my fingers when I applied it......it was just that I do not look good inn murky, muddy, dark colors, or off-whites or beigey.....flat colors having zero shimmer just do not light up the eyes nor do any favors to the complexion at all. Too matte, and way too dark. Sorry, no cigar.My pale, icy, Nordic eyes look best in silver shimmer eyeshadow on the lids, white frost under the orbital browbone, and medium-light grey in the crease, with light semi-matte grey under the eye as eyeliner, with silver frost liquid eyeliner on top of the eyeball along the upper lid lashline with black mascara above and below.When Real Purity comes out with these eyemakeup shades, I will purchase from no one else! Becasue Real Purity really does know how to make products out of good ingredients! I respect that ethic.I buy several of their products. But not the eyeshadow as is now.
