My favorite makeup
I will only use this foundation. This foundation doesn't mess with the mild case of Rocesa I have.

Great foundation
I really like this foundation. I personally don't mind the reformulation, though I haven't been using it as long as other customers. I can see what people are saying about it rubbing off, because I don't really feel like there's any left on my face by the end of the day. But it is so kind to my skin that I don't find I really need a lot of coverage anymore anyway. I don't use it for special events because it is so light, but it is great for everyday.

I also actually really like the glass bottle. It's a bummer that there is less foundation in it for sure, but I think it's easier to get out than the previous packaging and easier to tell how much I have left. Also I find 1-2 pumps is perfectly portioned.

Very unhappy with new formula/packaging
I've been using Real Purity foundation for years and loved it -- which is why I'm incredibly disappointed with this new reformulation of the product. The glass bottle makes it more difficult to get the makeup out (the makeup seems thicker, so you're forced to use an awkward applicator wand to get it out of the bottle) -- and the bottle contains less makeup for virtually the same price. The new formula also has a faint smell to it that I don't like and it feels different on my skin. I'm seriously disappointed and will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

Were sorry you're having some issues with the product!

There is no applicator wand, the bottle is an airless pump bottle. This will prevent any contamination into the product.

Best Regards,

Real Purity.

Like the foundation but not the bottle
I've been using this foundation for a few years. I wouldn't if I didn't like it. What I don't like is the glass bottle. Usually, glass is an upgrade from plastic. I, however, much prefer the old packaging. Otherwise, thanks for making a great foundation.

New but not improved
I just go the new and improved foundation yesterday. First of all, I love the new container. I was worried about the product freezing and the glass breaking before I got it from the mailbox, though. It seems this product has gone through several changes. I prefer the original formula which allowed my skin to look beautifully natural. The latest formula seemed a lot drier than the last time I ordered. As a result of it being drier, this foundation was harder to spread on my face and took more of the product. I purchased this product on sale this time, but in the future it will be more expensive to use as the glass container is smaller than the previous plastic one and it takes more of this formula per each use. Please, bring back the original formula.

Nice foundation, now too pricey
I've loved this foundation but see now that while they've "dropped" the price by a dollar, they've also decreased the quantity from 1.5 oz to 1 oz. I think that's a little shady, switching bottles and trying to make it look like the cost decreased, to those who aren't watchful for these things. I get it, you're in it for profit, but $31 an oz is getting a bit much. As I work through this bottle I'll be sampling other brands for a replacement...

Very poor-performing reformulation :( And NO LONGER TITANIUM FREE!
I am so very upset about this reformulation. This once fabulous and Titanium- dioxide-free foundation is now a shadow of its former self. It used to give really good, build-able coverage. That is a thing of the past. The emulsifiers in this new formula mean that the foundation just sits on top of your skin and slides around. The base doesn't sink in and leave the pigment on your skin, like you want it to. All traces will be gone within a couple hours despite the technique you use (bush, fingers, sponge, patting, serum base, freshly cleaned skin, or primed - It won't matter. If you touch your face it will be gone even faster.). I tried this for a solid week and it never made it through my day at the office (the old formula would last 18 hours on me and my couple friends who also used it. And yes, they also moved on to other brands after the reformulation.) The lab-made emulsifiers also mean that you will likely get clogged pores from this new formula. It also looks incredibly streaky and cake-y compared to the old version. It doesn't do much to cover discoloration. My tinted moisturizer from another brand actually gives better coverage which kind of surprised me. It also smells much stronger and I don't know about everyone else, but it made my skin break out. It also used to be titanium-dioxide free. That is no longer the case. It may still work for others since the TD is pycnogenol-coated, but those with actual chemical sensitivities will not be able to wear this without a reaction developing after a couple hours.

It's such a shame this company continues to reformulate their products. One by one I have had to stop using each article that I used to rave about and buy habitually. Newer is not better with Real Purity. So disappointed they decided to depart from the original formulas which built the brand.

So glad this is now offered in a glass bottle. As always this is the best foundation. Truly natural ingredients and evens skin tone without looking like I'm wearing any makeup.

New smaller bottle :(
I have been using this foundation for years. I love it!! I ordered the new bottle and was very disappointed to see that it went from 1.5oz down to only 1oz...for the same price I believe. The new bottle is beautiful but maybe lower the price to reflect the 33% less product.

May Contain Mica
I would have given it five stars but online the ingredients said may contain Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxides. I just received it today (great shipping!) and the ingredients say differently. It says may contain Mica, Titanium Dioxide, and Iron Oxides. I learned recently from several sources that Mica is mined by children in some parts of Africa. It was very difficult to find a organic and animal testing free company that didn't contain mica. I thought I had found one because the website said so. I was wondering why the website wasn't updated to say that it contained mica. I agree with what everyone else has said so far about it going on nicely and everything. I'm very passionate about stuff like this.

Hi Em, thank you so much for noticing this! We are in the process of updating our packaging, and we have recently removed mica from the foundation formula. Please reference the ingredients on the website, where it does NOT list mica - this is the accurate list. Thank you so much for pointing this out and we hope to have every label properly updated within the next month or two! If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Thanks so much! -The Real Purity Team
