Aloe vera extract acts a a strong anti-oxidant while moisturizing, calming and healing
Organic jojoba seed oil (similar to an oil produced by your own skin) improves each shade's texture and application while beeswax, candellila and carnuba wax provide a barrier against irritants
Cucumber extract provides moisturizing and emollient properities, while argan oil (non-greasy and non-irritating) provides vitamin e and fatty acids
This formula uses a sugar-derived, non-irritating preservative (the only preservative approved by Whole Foods) while helps preserve the quality of the formula and extends its time of use
All of Real Purity’s mascaras are micronized (not nano-sized)

Apply to clean dry, eyelashes. Re-apply as needed.

Not too thick

Not as thick as other mascara . Does not clump like other mascaras. Stays on

Only mascara I can use!

Over the last few years my skin has become more and more sensitive and last fall I was diagnosed with Rosacea. I struggle to find skin care and cosmetics that my skin doesn't react to and let me tell you it has been a challenge! Most drugstore mascaras are out, and a lot of the natural mascaras smudge and have fragrance (fragrance! why?? in an eye product! but I digress..) I took a chance and ordered this and low and behold a mascara that I can wear finally! no reaction, no burning. Amazing. I'm on my second tube. It goes on slick and natural and comes off easily at the end of the day with basic cleanser. Very very pleased to have found this. Prompt delivery too!

New formula review

Not sure how long ago this new formula has been available, but I just tried this newer formula black mascara and overall I am very pleased with it. No irritation to my sensitive and dry eyes, yay! My lashes are longer and darker then the older formula made them plus it wears much better, lasts a long time, whereas the older formula used to wear off after a short time, but don't get me wrong I loved the older formula too. My only issue with the new formula is some clumping of lashes, but this was my first time using it, I'm sure I'll get a handle on it .

Love it!

Finally a Mascara that does not irritate my eyes! Goes on great, lasts all day. Very nice stuff! I love this black and I also love the blue Mascara. It's subtle but beautiful. I'll never purchase any Mascara but this one. It's the very best!

Great mascara

I am SO happy to have found this mascara!! The ingredients don't irritate my eyes and make them swell up like so many conventional mascaras do. It goes on smoothly and stays all day without flaking off. I love this stuff :)

Good

This is my second time purchasing this mascara due to the fact that I like the ingredients. After I curl my lashes and apply it does not "hold the curl". It does apply well by going on smooth, with no clumping. I like the ingredients & price...wish it would hold he curl!

An Excellent, Organic Mascara

Upon finding the EWG website, I started my journey on finding & trying out organic products. I ordered countless mascaras which were rated #1 on their site. A lot of #1 rated mascaras left a lot to be desired; they ran, they stung my eyes, &/or they didn't volumize or lengthen. Upon trying this mascara, my lashes were volumized & lengthened! It didn't make my eyes sting. I wore the mascara to my workout & there was no running or smudging! I am very pleased with this mascara & would recommend it to anyone.

Great for Sensitive Eyes

Mainstream mascara's have been giving me horrible eye aches. I was sick of it and went the all natural route. Despite the few negative reviews on this product, I went with it anyways - I mean you really can't beat these ingredients! The mascara is wonderful. It provides a nice color, the brush is easy to help separate my lashes, and it has been lasting all day. Even if I touch my lashes the mascara stays. Not what you would expect from a natural mascara - this is definitely the one to try. My eyes aren't sensitive anymore! Thank you for such an amazing organic natural product!

probably will work for others, but not for me

I read another review before buying that said the brush didn't work for their thin sparse lashes, and I knew I should have listened, but I LOVE their roll-on deodorant and shampoo and conditioner so much I tried it anyway... The formula seems really nice, and it didn't bother my eyes at all, which was GREAT - but it didn't thicken and curl my lashes like I desperately need. BUT, for someone with normal eyelashes, they will probably be fine.
