    My eyeliner!

Walnut is my eyeliner. In my mid-70s and well before, I began using liquid eyeliners to prevent the drag of pencil liners. This close to the eye, I consider it imperative to have a clean product. I have yet to find anything I trust more than Real Purity. The walnut gives the richest, darkest line using a flat precision lining brush dampened under a very thin stream of water. I haven't tried charcoal, but the chocolate that appears darker on the website didn't work as well as the walnut.

    fabulous eye shadow

It stays put, has rich pigment and even works as a liner. I can not say enough great things about it. I also orderd a lighter brown sample ( insert color name) and I like it well enough to order it next time in full size and use under the brow area, with the darker one I love on my lid. they are both spectacular. I also love the coral sample I got and plan to order full size and I actually like it on my lips with lipgloss though it is intended for eyes

    great color combo

Fawn and Walnut make a great eyeshadow color combo. I apply Fawn with an eyeshadow brush from lid to brow and Walnut for the contour color. Love the classic and natural-looking matte finish.

    excellent for blue eyes

Walnut, Vanilla, and Fawn are excellent shades for blue eyes. Developed sudden allergy to mascara and used Walnut as eyeliner in lieu of mascara and it defines and enhances blue eyes. Vanilla and Fawn are subtle, buildable, and beautiful on blue. No itching, watering, or red eye. Also recommend the mascara; some complain of clumping but I've had no problem.

    love these shades!

I love the mocha brown and walnut eye colors. While I most often wear bronze shadows and liners and keep my eye looks simple, usually accompanied with black mascara (I like the shimmer that comes along with all bronzes), I discovered that if I put a little jojoba oil on my eyelids before applying the Real Purity shadows, I can use it like a wet application, which makes it darker and more intense! :) I like eye colors either shimmery, or very dark. I rarely do any blending, shading, etc. I love mascara, but I like either a plain upper-lid shadow above that, or I just line my eyes above and 2/3 below. Later in the day, the oil had blended the color to make a nice creamy as well as shiny look, which was very beautiful with chocolate shade. :) Adding the oil did make this function as a cream eye shadow, and I had problems with it running to the corners of my eyes, and creasing, but all cream shadows, even those sold to be used that way, have that problem for me. As I said, I love either sparkly, shimmer, or dark and really popping colors, so I don't believe I look good in classic mattes, or subtle blendings of colors, nor do I think I could try the whites and pinks that are supposed to be shinier in this line. But, I've found my own solution! :) It works great for me. I think the two colors I mentioned above are really pretty. :)Rachel
